The armoir is from DRENTE, a region in the NE of the Netherlands.
It is crafted of solid oak wood, a variety which has been extinct since a long time.
The colors in the pictures are the natural color of the wood, it has been treated with bee wax.
The armoir is one solid piece, crafted with the old "hole and pin" technique (no screws!!) and stands on "ball" legs.
The reliefs on the doors and side panels are handsculpted, no inlay or wood layers.
Lock and hindges are the original ones.
Measurements:
Height: 1.93 m
Width: 1.76 m, top included, 1.55 m body only
Depth: 55.5 cm, top included, 51.5 cm body only

The armoir is on view and can be picked up once bought, in Barcelon, Eixample (2nd floor, "Principal").
