Hello!

I have recently moved to Rotterdam in order to study at the Piet Zwart Institute, a Post-Graduate programme for Art, Design, and Theory. As a Canadian, part-time employment opportunities are difficult to find, and so I thought I might see if there are any parents looking for a part-time English (and some French)-speaking babysitter.

I have previously held jobs as both an after-school nanny and as an au pair in Belgium, and am confident in my skills in taking care of children of all ages. As a practicing artist, I might be especially of interest to you if you have children who enjoy creative activities like theatre, arts, and crafts.

My school schedule is relatively open, and I am more than happy to work nights.

Some things you might want to know about me:
-I am 23 years old, and grew up on the west coast of Canada. I will be living in Rotterdam for the next two years (or possibly more) while I complete a full-time Masters degree in Fine Art and Theory.
-I am happy to prepare meals, help with homework, and play.
-I grew up near nature, and am always excited to get outside, but also love to draw, paint, craft, and build things.
-English is my first language, but I do speak French quite well (although not fluently).
-I am comfortable caring for children ages 3 to 14.
-As a newcomer to the Netherlands, I do not know the going rate for babysitters, but would suggest my rate is 9 an hour. I am, however, willing to negotiate.

If you are interested in meeting me, please don't hesitate to send me an email at bitsy.knox@gmail.com
