If you like mountains, Breuil-Cervinia is what you are looking for. The region and charming town is dominated by the mighty mountain peak Monte Cervino/Matterhorn with an altitude of 4484 m. It is considered by many as their favourite ski resort in Italy.

Cervinia (2050 m) is one of the highest resorts in the Italian Alps, connected to Zermatt in Switzerland, offering about 350 km of slopes. Starting at 2050m with slopes rising to 3883m, it is one of Europe's most snow-sure resorts, set against a superb glacial backdrop. It's a place where long runs right down to village level are virtually guaranteed from the beginning of December until early May. Snowboarders can show off their skills at Europe’s highest snowpark Indian Park. Summer skiing continues on the glacier in July and August.

In the lively town center of Cervinia you’ll find whatever you’re looking for: shops, bars, pubs, pizzerias and restaurants with the typical Italian specialties of the Valle d'Aosta area. Other activities include cross-country ski, snowmobile, golf, trekking, (ice) climbing, downhill mountain biking or just relax in a wellness center.
