I recently completed my obligatory 60-hour 'formation' and have got my Agrément to be a Nounou, so I am now looking for a little client!

Qualified as a counsellor (psychotherapist) in Carl Rogers' 'Person Centred Approach', I have a good understanding of and deep interest in childrens' developmental needs. I am a loving, gentle and patient mother (my own child is now 4) and I would love to have an English-speaking or bi-lingual child to look after.

We have a large, light flat in Avignon centre with a communal garden downstairs. My son goes to the (Rudolf) Steiner school in Sorgues part-time so we spend a lot of time together, cooking, making constructions, creating works of art, visiting friends/ the park/ nature/ shows and events. Our family life is lovely and I would like to share it with another child whose parents have similar values to us. I have lots of successful and joyous child-minding experience.

I am available periodically throughout the summer and then permanently from mid-September onwards. Ideally, I am looking for an average 30 - 36 hours' work a week and I can be very flexible about hours and arrangements; for instance, depending on where you live, I might be willing to pick your child up from your house or drop him/her home, if that is more convenient.
