We are now offering 2009 bookings for our fabulous old French farm gites in the Limousin. Full details and lots more pictures at http://www.theforgottenfrance.com


The new gite (Gite 3) sleeps 6 to 8 people in 3 double/twin bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. Downstairs, there is a living room and a large dining room/kitchen, all fully equipped. There are also two smaller gites (Gites 1 and 2) each comfortably set up for a family of 4/5. Quiet rural location with loads of room to spread out, but ten minutes from shops etc. Fishing, sailing, water-skiing, canoeing, lakeside beach, horse-riding, golf, tennis, all nearby. Excellent pub/restaurant 3 miles away - English spoken. Great hiking and cycling country. Our own facilities include a large swimming pool (heated from May 2008), trampoline, bicycles, barbecues, and games room (just in case of rain!). Satellite TV (Sky), DVD players, free WiFi Broadband. Easy access by car (20 minutes from A20 motorway), train (50 minutes from Limoges station), or by air (50 minutes from Limoges airport – Ryanair, Flybe, Air France) from Stansted, Southampton, Nottingham, Liverpool, Newcastle, Brussels, Paris, Lyon and Nice.
