Marc Chagall "Printemps" (Spring)
Medium: lithograph. This beautiful lithograph was published in Paris by Teriade for Verve (Volume 1, Number 3), in 1938. Verve was founded in 1937 to showcase fine prints by the leading artists of the day, with outstanding technical quality. Size: 14 x 10 1/4 inches; very good condition. Unsigned. $600

"Le Cirque"
Medium: original lithograph. Reference: Mourlot 289. This original lithograph from the stone was pulled in Paris in 1960 by the legendary atelier of Fernand Mourlot. Size: 12 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches. Unsigned. $400

Marc Chagall "Devant Saint-Jeannet"
Medium: original color lithograph. Catalogue reference: M 646. This beautiful Chagall composition was published in 1972 and printed in Paris by Mourlot. Size: 12 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches; 320 x 240mm. Not signed. $550

Marc Chagall "Angel in Paradise"
Medium: original lithograph. Catalogue reference M 121. This beautiful color lithograph was printed by Mourlot and published in Paris by Teriade for Verve in 1956 for a special edition devoted exclusively to Chagall's original Bible lithographs. Verve was founded in 1937 to showcase original lithographs by the leading artists of the day, with outstanding technical quality. Size: 14 x 10 1/4 inches. Unsigned.
The Bible lithographs were highly acclaimed at the time of their publication, and today they are some of Chagall's most popular and sought-after works. $800

Marc Chagall "Clean the Trousers"
Medium: original etching and drypoint. Catalogue reference: V-69. Plate size: 10 7/8 x 8 5/8 inches, with full margins. From Marc Chagall's famous "Dead Souls" suite of etchings, executed and printed in the 1920's for Ambroise Vollard. However, due to Vollard's untimely death and the chaos of the War, they were not released until Teriade finally published them in 1948. The total edition was 368; this impression was printed on wove paper. Note: Chagall did not sign any impressions by hand. $1000
