Michal Deschausses, an American born author, has decoded a ciphertext hidden for over 450 years in the writings of Nostradamus. The book entitled Rise to Consciousness was published in November 2008. In 2009 the author appeared on the History Channel series entitled "The Nostradamus Effect" and published another book entitled "Three Temporal Kings - Nostradamus Prophecies of the Divine Plan."

The art of ciphertext is an ancient form of the permutation of letters which has existed within various works of literature from ancient to modern times. In a startling literary discovery, three written works of a 16th century writer have been fully deciphered to reveal a hidden legend.
